Mobile Phone Film making workshops begins...

Hey all

Well, how is everyone, hope this finds y'all well and dandy.
Just an update on what is going on so far...
Tomorrow we start our first block of Mobile Phone Film Making Workshops. Chris Chadwick from ICDC & Paul McCann from Twin Vision will be leading the sessions. More from them later.

The first group to take part is Liverpool Youth Service. Their workshops will be every Tuesday and Thursday up until October the 11th, so keep checking out what they think and what they get up to on this blog...

England vs Russia

Well we did it we won 3-0 Against russia Michael Owen our hero 9 more goals he ties with bobby charlton scores 10 hes held a new record for England.

England have a bigger battle ahead of them most of the fans are relying on luck including me i know england can do this with a bit of luck and a miricle we can win the world cup and bring it back to england for the second time great result Scotland vs France Scotland 1 France 0 but croatia there doing amazingly top of the group never thought that would happen but it did if we had wayne rooney it would have been a totally different set out compared to what it was. Michael owen is fit enough the goals hes cuming out with are saving england from getting knocked out owen gerrard wright-philips and heskey will do it for us wheres england getting there magic from im sure mclaren has highered the pay role of every player at least 2x the amount from their normal pay 1 more thing though cumon england and gerrard dont get another injury were relying on you for liverpool.

New look project blog

What do you think of the new look to the project blog? Better than the bright orange bars it used to have? Hopefully it will tie in with your website design now. If anyone wants to design a new header or add bits to the banner, let me know.

11 yr old boy shot dead in Croxteth - steve the youth worker wonders what you think?

I am sure many of you will have heard by now that an 11yr old boy has been shot in Croxteth, Liverpool.

I think it is the youngest ever kid to be killed in this way in Liverpool.

sadly Liverpool is once again in the news for a bad thing to do with young people.

Thankfully projects like Refugee action, Powerhouse, travellers projects, ICDC, BYPP, liverpool Youth service do show the wonderful things young people in Liverpool can do.....but... I just wondered what you, as young people, thought about this type of killing...

Do the papers and news only cover BAD things about young people in the City?

young people are the ones who suffer most in terms of violence etc so what can young people do about it?

Is it out of control? or is it just that the papers / news only cover the bad stuff

what can young people do about it?

and i suppose a difficult question... IF you knew someone who had killed another young person WOULD YOU report them..or would you say 'never grass'???

if that was your brother / cousin / child who had been killed would you want people to come forward and tell the truth?

anyway I just thought i would post this to get you thinking and hear what you have to say.
