Hiya!
Hey all
Bernadette here - yes, the one that ate all the pies and now has a right old pie belly on her, which should disappear come Feb 14th.
Welcome to ICDC, hope you're all doing mighty fine and ready for the weekend - I know I am !!!
So, did you have a good week? It was great to have met you all on Tuesday - I met Alan and Keri-Anne before in the Residency which they can tell you all about. Lookign forward to seeing what your films are like and hope that you are pleased with what you have created...
What did you reckon on the Hollyoaks visit? Emma was v.lovely and had a few good tips for filmaking and acting...
Hope you are coming to the Screening on Tues the 30th Oct from 5 - 7. It is an opportunity for you - the young film makers - to share and celebrate your talent with your fellow film makers, family and friends. So hope you will tell us about your films on the night. Young people from Liverpool Youth Service will be coming along as well, so you can see what they have done too.
Don't forget that after the project you can still use the site to get more tips on film making, contact other filmakers and add your own tips and questions to the message board.
Okie-coke
See you all in bit!

Tales of the Experimental ...
Well done to all the Learners who participated in last night's experimental film making session. There was an abundance of ideas and everyone had lots of fun experimenting with the creative process.
Some people experimented with extravagant tracking shots with a remote control car, through to rotating the camera on a set of DJ turntables. Phones were dangled from pieces of string and were taken for a walk. Some learners experimented with mirrors/ coloured gels and my favourite, the Porcelain Shots. There were some really great experiments with the 'illusion of depth' and trying to fake depth ratios of props.
Once again, well done to the experimental team!

Get the Brews on......!
The Mobile Movies team had a really great film making night at icdc HQ last night. Some solid performances in the acting and production arena. Chaddy & TV set everyone the task of filming something as 'mundane' as making a cup of tea but trying to do it in a creative way. Everyone did superbly and told a story through a mixture of shot sizes/ angles and performances.
Well done!
Chaddy!
